Sinema will begin brunch service on Sunday, Oct. 26, featuring a whopping 18 entrees and, for those so inclined, bubble service (more on that below).
Chef Dale Levitski has been previewing entrees (or parts of them) at his last few events. On Wednesday, he rolled out a delicious, hearty stew at the Best of Nashville party that will be the base for one item.

Did you know that Reese Witherspoon is from Nashville? Yup, she’s a Harpeth Hall girl and everything. Reese’s ‘rents still live here.
So Reese comes back to Nashville often, sometimes with the kids and hubby, sometimes not.
She was spotted just last week at Cabana nightspot in Hillsboro Village, a trendy hipster kinda place. She was in town to showcase her new film, “The Good Lie,” which premiered across the Village at Belcourt Theatre.

I could spend days writing this blog post. Not kidding. DAYS. Our town’s 2nd Music City Food + Wine Festival has come and gone, and it was a doozy.
As I sat here going through all of my photos, it hit me hard how much I love Nashville and more specifically, our food community. This past weekend was absolutely incredible. My heart and my belly were filled as I got to eat delicious things, listen to incredible music, meet interesting new people, and spend quality time with dear friends I don’t get to see nearly enough of.

As Nashville’s stature as a culinary hot spot continues to grow, chefs from across the country are flocking to town to open restaurants and take advantage of the national buzz. In many cases, these outposts are simply additions to a chain, with the name-brand chefs behind the projects making occasional appearances in the kitchen while running their empires from other cities. But Sinema, the new showcase restaurant of Top Chef season-three alum Dale Levitski, is not that sort of venture. - See more at: http://nashvillelifestyles.com/restaurants/sinema-nashville#sthash.aLwde0LE.dpuf

Take my advice: go to the cocktail lounge at Sinema and simply say, “I want Sugar.”
The Sugar Plate is only available on Sinema’s concessions menu, which is in their upper level lounge. It’s the perfect ending for an evening with a group of friends, because you have several small bites to share; a variety of miniature baked, frosted & spun desserts (including cotton candy!) The selection pictured above is Creme Brûlée, Grasshopper, Blackberry Cream Puffs, Peanut Butter Whoopie Pies, Chocolate Bouchon, Blueberry muffin, Lemon Meringue Tart, and Passion Fruit Bars, but that might not be exactly what you get when you order. You see, the plate constantly changes, which I think adds to the fun!
